 The 2009 Powerscreen Tournament has been confirmed for September 4-6th in Calgary, Alberta. At our last divisional meeting we discussed the idea of entering a few select teams in Tournament. As the cut off date for entries is July 15th we will need to begin to coordinate commitments from players as soon as possible. Once we have the commitment of a team the league can begin to raise funds for those going. If you, or any of your team mates, are interested in participating please contact us at torontogaa@gmail.com. The teams expected are the Calgary Chieftains, Edmonton Wolfe Tones, Red Deer Eire Og, Vancouver Harps and teams from the Toronto GAA. The tournament is open to both Men's and Ladies teams. Registration will be on Friday, September 4th at the Welcome Party. Games will begin the morning of September 5th, 2009 at CCIAC. The Banquet will take place on Saturday, September 5th at the Calgary Irish Cultural Society. The price is $30, which includes dinner and live entertainment.
